Beef and Noodles

Save the juices and leftover beef from the Easy Roast beef recipe. Fill the crock pot halfway with water. Add 2 or 3 beef bouillon cubes. Shred the beef into small pieces. Add 1 t. salt and pepper. Add 16 oz. package of wide noodles. Cook on medium-low for about 4 hours. You can thicken it with a little corn starch mixed with water right before serving.

Beef Stroganoff

1# stew meat, cut into bite size pieces

1 pkg. Onion Soup mix

1/2 c. cooking sherry (I used burgundy), if desired

1 can cream of mushroom soup

Mix together in crock pot and heat on low for about 6 hours. About 20 minutes before serving, cook 1 pkg. egg noodles as directed on package. While noodles are cooking, add 16 oz. sour cream and sliced fresh mushrooms to crock pot. Stir until blended and heated through. Serve over noodles.
