Welcome to my
Studio!
updated....January
8, 2010....

Welcome to 2010
A new decade....
a new year.....
a bright
beginning...
a fresh slate....

what does that mean to you?
I'm looking
forward to a chance to start fresh with a new slate......becoming a
better me...........in so many ways.
Being filled with
JOY---sharing JOY---
| Happiness
doesn't occur by itself
You cause it to happen or not....
How you relate to life's events,
Determines your JOY or your
misery.
I CHOOSE JOY--what about you? |
And I want to share my
passion for quilting with YOU! Open House is over, and
lots of classes
filled, but still room for more. I added 8 MORE dates to
accommodate as many as I could. If quilting is on your 'bucket'
list, NOW is the time to learn. Just a little time per day
quilting soothes my soul, calms me down and allows me plenty of
reflection time. AND keeps my creative side happy.
In the meantime...welcome to a
New Year, may it be filled with JOY, happiness and health!

And there is a new addition to our
family! Well, my Studio family of
machines.............introducing my new
Handiquilter Fusion Long arm...(see

I'm adding a line of Kaffe Fassett
fabric for sale. Available in 5" charm packs, 10" packs, 2 1/2"
strips, 1 1/2" strips and FQ's.
This is just 20% of what I have
available. Come check it out!
I won't be carrying the yardage
but this way you'll be able to get the variety you need to make up
some yummy quilts!

Remember, I now can accept Visa and
MasterCard! Rack up those points girls! :)

I've started a new recipe blog.
I'll personally try each recipe and post a picture of the good ones.
Yum!

Psssst...you can keep up my ongoing
projects in my studio on my
blog...
see how I went from this.....
to this........

on my blog (and yes, they are the SAME
closet!)
ps...it's now over 2
years and it STILL
looks like this! (well, there is some missing and a few, just a FEW,
new pieces--but it still looks good!) The trick is that I have a large tub to put fabric
in until I can get it folded correctly. I don't often have time to
re-fold every piece I get to audition or whatever, but yet didn't
want to throw it in the pile or my closet would look like the top
picture in no time!
Announcing.....Khloe!

Khloe!
She is like a much bigger sister to Zoe. Zoe has been adopted out to
a very nice quilting lady and I'm sure will give her as much
pleasure as she gave me. :) I've only been able to do about 10
quilts since I got Khloe, being gone most of the summer, but she's
going to get a lot of use now! She has done 40+ quilts now and is a
dream to quilt on. And oh, so easy to load as well. She'll be available for rent as
well and I'll be giving more classes to learn how to use her.

Did you know that I am also known as
"Passionate Quilter"? That's the name of my
blog. I try
to journal more of my day to day quilting adventures and once in a
while throw in a darling grandchild!
I added another
page featuring pictures of my
studio for those that have never been here before. I give the story
of how Kquilts Studio ever came to be.
