Welcome to my Studio!

You are cordially invited to come to my Open House

and

Quilter’s Flea Market

Sat. August 23

10 AM to 4 PM

25% off all classes signed up and paid for on that day!

Did you notice I included a “Quilter’s Flea Market”?  I’m going to try something new—offer quilter’s a place to sell and/or buy fabric, books, patterns, notions or anything else ‘quilty’. Some of our more ‘seasoned’ quilter’s have a bit too much for our space! Well, at least I do! LOL

If you would like to sell some of your quilt related items, there is no charge to come and set up. You need to provide your own table and pre-register with me. Think of this as a Flea Market just for Quilter’s (please bring only quilt related items—things that a quilter might be interested in).  Contact me for details if you are interested in setting up a table. If you are new to quilting, this is a great opportunity to come get some bargains!!

I've been busy making class samples and having LOTS of fun with the 5" charm packs! If you go to online, they have all the newest ones. Click on the fabric you like to see if they are available or Just click on Charm Packs.

I hope all of you have been enjoying the summer, getting to do the things you wanted, go the places you dreamt about and quilted as much as your heart desired!  And now I hope you are ready to get back into the 'quilting' mode as the temperatures start falling and the days get shorter.

Psssst...you can keep up my ongoing projects in my studio on my blog...

see how I went from this.....

to this........

on my blog (and yes, they are the SAME closet!)

ps...it's now 4 months later and it STILL looks like this! The trick is that I have a large tub to put fabric in until I can get it folded correctly. I don't often have time to re-fold every piece I get to audition or whatever, but yet didn't want to throw it in the pile or my closet would look like the top picture in no time!

Announcing.....Zoe!

Meet Zoe, my HQ16 friend!  She's been helping me finish my quilts and even has assisted my 7 year old granddaughter finish her quilt!

And now, I've decided to be unselfish and share her with you too!  If you break out into a sweat just thinking about quilting your own large quilts, let Zoe help you! I'm going to 'rent' her out to quilters struggling on their own. The requirement is that you have to come to a 'one-time' training session to learn all the ins and outs of using the machine. Don't worry, she's very user friendly!  More info here....

Did you know that I am also known as "Passionate Quilter"? That's the name of my blog. I try to journal more of my day to day quilting adventures and once in a while throw in a darling grandchild!

I added another page featuring pictures of my studio for those that have never been here before. I give the story of how Kquilts Studio ever came to be.
